One place I never miss when I am in Cebu is La Marea. Their desserts are divine. Their bestseller, the Warm Brownie Cup, is a must-try. They've also come up with Tsokolate Cup, brownie made of tablea (with tinge of bitter taste from this local chocolate). I like this more than the original Warm Brownie cup because the bitter taste of chocolate balances out the sweet vanilla ice cream.
Another favorite at La Marea is their milo cookies. As kids, we loved to eat milo straight from the can. The milo cookies are like eating milo without the mess. Delicious! My nephews and nieces love them, too!
La Marea offers a wide array of desserts. They've got cheesecakes, custards, and even bibingka. They also offer sugarfree cakes. Pair your fave desserts with coffee. I hear their coffee is delicious.
La Marea is a wonderful place to have conversations with friends. It's cozy and more quiet than most cafes.
When in Cebu, visit La Marea for some after-meal desserts.
