Popcorn is one of my comfort foods. So Chicago Popcorn Shops is a wonderful find. Not only are the cans pretty, the popcorn flavors are really delicious, too. There's Cheese and Karamel Krisp (blend out of native brown sugar). Or you can have both flavors they call the Chicago Mix.
My choice? The Chicago Mix because I always love the mixture of sweet and salty (like chocolate and potato chips).
You can also go for refills. Just bring your empty tins to any of their branches (except in Rockwell, I think).
You can find Chicago Popcorn Shops at the 2nd Floor, Entertainment Mall, SM Mall of Asia.
They also just opened a branch at Crossings Department Store, Shangrila Mall (Shaw Blvd entrance).
In Makati, find them at the Bacchus Epiceri, Powerplant Mall, Rockwell.
The tins come in three different colors: silver, bronze, and the limited edition red tins.
For bulk orders, call 556-6625.
. . . . .
A not-so-nice-thing though --
In their website (I checked a few seconds ago), they said the one gallon tin size is P280 (and in their FB page they said that refills are at P220). But in Rockwell Bazaar today (Sat), they were sold at P350 (and the small tins at P150). Hmm, not very good. What happened? Tsk Tsk.
