The Lollicake Factory.

Before I continue with my Bali entries, I would like to write about Lollicakes -- those melt-in-your mouth goodness baked by the awesome LJ Moreno. The theme last weekend was Angry Birds and I certainly didn't want to pass the chance to grab some. So off I went to Mercato Centrale with my good friend Mecielo yesterday morning.
Mercato Centrale
Bonifacio Global City
8th and 34th Streets
(beside MC Home Depot)
Opens every Saturday and Sunday
7am-2pm
Those ball cakes on stick come in four different flavors (if I remember it right) -- red velvet, buttercream, chocolate, and carrot. LJ's lollicakes are not too sweet (just perfect) and moist, they actually melt in your mouth!

They come in many pretty designs and themes, too. LJ can also make lollicakes with your own design or logos for your parties and events.

Price range
Php45-55 each

LJ and one of my closest friends, Mecielo yesterday at Mercato Centrale.

I first met LJ during the Hothouse Wedding Photography Workshop last year. I truly admire how nice and friendly and down-to-earth she is. If you know me, you'd know how much I really admire people who have a lot of humility in their bones.

Yesterday, I asked LJ how her Lollicake Factory began. She said, she first tasted a lollicake in the US and when she got back to the country, she was craving for it. So she decided to make these yummy treats herself. Her family and friends loved it, too! And as they say, the rest is history.
