Chorizo Fried Rice. Php365 (to share) . Php210 (regular)
We have been telling ourselves -- CBB and I -- that we will try Krazy Garlik the next time we were in GB5. We've been to GB5 many times but we always forget. We finally got around to trying it one Saturday afternoon.
I am really not a big fan of garlic. But thankfully, garlic in the entrees are not overpowering.
We normally just order steamed rice, but for a change, we decided to have Chorizo Fried Rice. It was, well, garlicky, salty, and had subtle sweetness from the chorizo. We both loved it.
Next time, I will try their spicy fried rice, Hara Kiri. It has shrimps, bacon, squid, and chili.
Caesar Salad. Php495 (to share) . Php295 (regular)
We ordered Caesar Salad so we won't be too guilty about gorging on crispy pata. The greens were fresh and crunchy. The anchovy dressing was a bit of a pleasant surprise for me.
Garlicky Crispy Pata. Php695
It was good, but nothing really special about it, except perhaps that it was sprinkled with a lot of finely chopped fried garlic. Otherwise, it was just crispy pata -- the kind you can order from other restos. Still, we liked it.
Note to self: Try the Sweet & Sour Calamari, Krazy Garlik Crab, and Rouge Seafood Coconut Curry next time.
Krazy Garlik also serves shakes, healhty quenchers, pasta, pizza, and dessert. We had dessert at Caffe Ti-Amo, so please remind me to try Krazy Garlik's Crema Catalina (spanish style creme brulee with a twist of garlic) on my next visit.
Check out Krazy Garlik's MENU.
