Last Monday, I went to Ortigas to check out my friend E's new condo unit. She asked me to help her decorate. And since I am a frustrated interior designer, I said yes. Her new unit is beautiful, what with all its big windows. She has an amazing view of the city.
After transferring some things from her old unit and planning what to do and where to put things, we went to Mom and Tina's for a late lunch.

We had Mango Kani Salad (Php245). Crunchy and fresh. Every flavor mixed well together. I think they used japanese mayo in this and it was just perfect. :)

E ordered one of her faves -- the Shepherd's Pie (Php175). This pie has ground meat, potatoes, and cheese. It almost tastes like lasagna without the tomato sauce and pasta. You eat this with bread rolls. And Mom and Tina's has really yummy rolls. This is so good! No wonder E loves this.

I can't imagine drinking something blue, but this is good. It taste like lemonade, but it's blue. But of course, it is called Blue Lemonade. :)

We grabbed some dessert, too. E had Mango Walnut Torte (Php95) and I had Toblerone Walnut Torte (Php100). Delectable and divine!

Mom and Tina's is a bakery/cafe. They sell a wide variety of pastries, cakes, and breads. I love their cinnamon rolls!

So many cookies to choose from! They actually have amazing choices in their MENU.

I love the interiors of this cafe. It reminds me of a country home. Cozy and comfortable. I love all the flowers and blues and yellows and pinks. Quite charming.
I hope they'd improve their service a bit. We had to wait too long for them to get our dessert. But this cafe is certainly a must-go place. Everything is wonderful.
