I blamed my lack of sleep. I survived on 2-3 hours of sleep every night for many years. I blamed so many things for it -- my allergy medicines, my facial soap, stress at work. I even blamed my bangs. I went to the derma, but nothing seemed to work until I read in a health magazine that Tea Tree oil is good for the skin.

About a month ago, I grabbed some Body Shop Tea Tree products and hoped it would work. I got a bottle of Skin Clearing Facial Wash, Skin Clearing Toner, and Tea Tee Oil.
Fortunately, the products actually worked! I noticed the difference in a matter of one week. My zits dried out.
I still survive on 2-3 hours of sleep, I still have bangs, my days are still as stressful, and my hormones are still going bonkers but my skin has cleared up. And those dark ugly marks are fading.
I use the facial wash and toner twice a day, and then I moisturize my face with Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunblock in the morning and YSL Top Secrets Sleep-Restoring Skincare Palette (a gift from Normita) at night.
Body Shop's Tea Tree line also has Blemish Fade Night Lotion and Clearing Lotion I would love to try soon.
The Bundjalung aboriginal tribal group have known about tea tree oil's healing properties for years - around 40,000, give or take. More recently they established the Bunjum Co-operative to market their fantastic tea tree oil and protect their rights. Their aims of restoring pride and vitality in the community are already being met, and the young now have work opportunities without having to leave for the city. {grabbed from Body Shop's website}

When I started using these products, I dabbed the tea tree oil on fresh zits. I did it before I slept at night, and in the morning, the zits are all dried. Now that the pimples are gone, I am using the oil on dark spots/zit marks.
I lived with a clear skin all my life, so when the pimples came like a plague, I felt horrible. The Body Shop Tea Tree line is a fabulous find and I'm grateful these worked for me.
