This isn't my first time at Chili's but I never got around to blogging about it. I've spent so many celebrations there -- from birthdays to anniversaries -- and enjoyed their food everytime.
Last August 1 was my 13th year anniversary of the day I left Cebu and started my life here in Manila. It may sound funny to some, but I do celebrate my anniversary. My journey was not easy, that's why I celebrate in gratitude for all the blessings, lessons, adventures, and friends I've met along the way.
J and I celebrated last weekend. We went to Chili's Rockwell to satisfy some cravings.
I first tasted these Classic Nachos with melted cheese, jalapenos, chicken (or beef), queso, pico de gallo and sour cream last year when we celebrated Mom's birthday at Chili's. My sister D ordered it and assured us it was really delish. She was right, I totally fell in love with it. It was so good, it lingered in my memory. I promised myself that when I go back to Chili's, I'll order it. So I did!
I have been craving for Baby Back Ribs for a week, so I grabbed this chance to order some. I had the barbeque sauce on the side because I do not like my ribs too gooey. Haha. This truly satisfied my cravings. Smokey, tender, and just delicious!
J had Classic Bacon Burger. Don't be fooled by the picture, it was a big burger. I think it passed J's standards because he consumed it without saying anything. Silence means it got his seal of approval. And I tell you, he is very hard to please when it comes to food.
Of course, when in Chili's order bottomless drinks!

It was a good meal and it made my 13 year-anniversary quite special. Service was fast and friendly. I wish though that Chili's had a bigger space in Rockwell.
