This is Chef Jessie teaching us how to do her delicious dishes.

Rolling dough for the quiche.

Chef Jessie's special dip.
This is love, magic, and dreams in olive oil. I kid you not.

Cheese, Spinach, and Mushroom Quiche + salad.
The salad was fresh and crunchy. The quiche was light and lovely. Yes, food could be lovely. :)

Steamed Tranche of Norwegian Salmon.
Another light, beautifully seasoned dish. The dill-Hollandaise dressing was absolutely fantastic.
It was served with Linguine a la creme.

Plating the steak. I enjoyed watching the entire process of cooking and plating! Quite inspiring.

Roasted US Black Angus Beef Au Jus.
This was served with Lyonnaise potato and sauteed french beans.
I am not a big fan of beef or anything cooked rare, but I tried this. I believe in trying everything once.
Delicious! But I couldn't eat much because I was already too full by the time this was served. :)

Warm Chocolate Pudding with Raspberry Puree.
A perfect ending to an incredibly awesome night!
And oh, this is my friend Ces in her beautiful home being interviewed by Miguel (one of the nicest people I know).

ReplyDeleteThe thought of fine dining scares me, haha! But I've always had fantasies of having a nice, romantic dinner at a fancy restaurant. I'd like to try this at least once, and when I do, we'll go to Top of the Citi.
Dea: Everything she prepared was really good! :) Like you, fine dining scares me, too! Haha. But it's really wonderful to try everything once. :) And yes, do check out Top of the Citi! :)
