Tender, moist, and beautifully seasoned, this chicken is a must-try. I get terrible allergic reaction when I eat chicken, but I could not NOT try this. Thank God for anti-histamine! In fact, I kept coming back to this dish because it was so delicious!

I think this is called Crispy Steak. I have vague memory of this dish because I can't get my mind (and fork) off the Iberian Chicken. Haha.

Oh, but this, I remember perfectly well -- Deep Fried Pork Belly -- crispy, tender, and deep fried to perfection. This is Pepper and Peppers' version of the bagnet. And this version is certainly more delightful. Any shameless carnivore (like me) will love this!

Chiqui was so nice and wonderful. She entertained us the entire time we were there, answering our questions and talking about her fabulous dishes.

When I have the chance to go back to Davao, I will certainly visit Pepper and Peppers again. The restaurant is clean, minimally but tastefully decorated, and there's enough parking space. And the service? Two thumbs up.
Thank you once again Chiqui and to the awesome people of Pop Talk - Joni, Richelle, Luz, Jane, Joana, Tonipet, Nino, and Jepoy. Pop Talk airs every Tuesday, 10pm over at GMA News TV.

Wow. Your photos are just... wow. I can already taste the food. :) I'm actually Googling Iberian Chicken now to see what's in it. I hope I get to visit this place if I ever find myself in Davao again.
ReplyDeleteWish I could have gone, haha! Now I'm contemplating starting a travel blog, lol. ;)
