The Maxima Vacation House is an exclusive fully furnished, two-storey, four-bedroom beach house just about a minute by motorboat to Maxima Aqua Fun. It is also a hike away to Haguimit Falls, which sadly, we weren't able to visit.
Maxima Adventure Package (8pax)We stayed practically the whole day at Maxima Aqua Fun and tried some of their most awesome adventures. Unlike most resorts in the island, Maxima Aqua Fun does not have a stretch of white sand where you could sit and get a tan. This is not the place for slowness and solitude. Maxima is where you have fun, shout your lungs out, dive, snorkel, risk life and limb.
US$959
Inclusions:
Overnight stay (entire house is exclusive to you)
Three catered meals
Waterslides with lifevest
Kayak
Boat Transfer
Housekeeper and Chef
Cooking facilities

The first thing we tried when we got there was the Canopy Walk. It was both scary and fun! I was with the

We also tried Maxima's Giant Tarpaulin Slide. This was my favorite! It was so exhilarating, I couldn't help but shout my lungs out while sliding!
The slide is about 40 meters long. It's highest end is mounted on a hill and then it goes down to the sea. The giant slide was such an adrenalin rush. So much fun! I wanted to do it over and over. But we had a shoot to do, we moved on immediately to the next adventure -- the banana boat ride. And if you watched that PopTalk episode, I fell off the boat twice! *grin*

Many people visit this place and thankfully, there's enough space for everyone. Maxima has a lot of lunch tables for day trippers. One thing they should improve though -- comfort/bath/changing rooms.

They also have a little restaurant where the souvenir shop was also located. We had a sumptuous lunch there.

Some artists were doing henna tattoos and selling handmade accessories and souvenirs in one of the tents. We stopped by and grabbed some. :)

Transport options (max of 10 pax):
Round trip from Sta Ana wharf to Maxima : P6,500
Round trip Penaplata to Maxima : P3,000

In the evening on weekends, Maxima has drummers and fire dancers to entertain their guests. I tried swirling the fire poi and guess what? I burned my hair. Haha. Anyway, it was such an awesome experience.
In terms of amenities, service, and value for money Maxima Vacation House and Maxima Aqua Fun got perfect scores from me. Everyone in this resort was absolutely wonderful and nice. And when I go back (because I certainly will), I will tag my family along. This is a perfect place for some family adventure.
