Anyway, it was also my friend Bambi's birthday, so after the movie, we headed off to C2 Classic Cuisine for a late lunch. We were famished, so we ordered three main dishes, two of each! Plus, we ordered too many desserts!
C2 Classic Cuisine is one of my favorite filipino restaurants. I've been here many times before and had memorable meals in this resto. They serve our favorite pinoy dishes but with a little bit of a twist. For example, their version of bibingka? Bibingka Souffle! Light, delicious, and just delightful. They also have Champorado Mousse (which I will certainly try next time) - dark chocolate rice pudding layered with spanish chocolate mousse and then served with crisp otap cookie.
We tremendously loved everything we ordered, well, except for the Pastillas Panna Cotta because we found it too sweet. Special mention to their Durian Creme Brulee because it was absolutely divine! And I don't even like durian!
I love the ambiance at their PowerPlant branch, but I think they should improve on their Shangrila Plaza branch. I couldn't say much about the service because I was too happy that afternoon to even notice if they were attentive or not. Haha.

Durian AND cream brulee in one dessert??? I die! I will eat durian-flavored anything and anything-flavored creme brulee, I have to visit this resto soon if only for this dessert.
