Harbour City Dimsum House.

One of the restaurants I never miss when I'm in Cebu is Harbour City Dimsum. I always crave for their pork steamed rice. It is comfort food to me. Every spoonful tells me that I am home. It was my Mom who introduced chinese dimsum to me when I was a young girl and I fell in love with it. In college, a Ding Qua Qua branch (sister company of Harbour City) was just beside my school and I would dine there at least once a week.

Anyway, after my visit to the Cardiologist about two weeks ago, I had lunch at Harbour City Dimsum with my aunt, cousin, and sisters.

Pork Steamed Rice.
I always order this. It has shrimps, pork, peas, and a really tasty sauce.
It is a meal in itself, but you certainly wouldn't want to miss other dimsum favorites.

Plain Siomai. They serve so many varieties of siomai.

Egg roll. Delicious, but I only took a bite because I gave space (in my tummy) for my fried favorites. *grin*

Shrimp Toast. Crunchy outside and soft inside. This is love!
And even though I am allergic to shrimp, I still order this everytime!

Garlic Pork. Simple dish but incredibly delicious.
Sweet and Sour Pork. Another favorite. Perfectly seasoned.
And I love that it doesn't have too much sauce.

Fried Lumpia. Light and crispy. This is how fried lumpia should be.

Other favorites from Harbour City Dimsum include Fried Shrimp Balls, Empress Roll,
Bacon Shao Mai, Steamed Hakao, Buchi, and Mango Float.

Carts of food go around the restaurant and all you have to do is stop a cart when it passes by your table
and then point the food you want. The service here is quick and friendly.

And this is my family who gorged all these -- from left to right:
my sisters Binky and Dionne, aunt Dr Viray, and cousin Jenny.
