I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you’re wonderful,
and don’t forget to make some art —
write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can.
May your coming year be a wonderful thing,
in which you dream both dangerously and outrageously.
I hope you’ll make something that didn’t exist before you made it,
that you will be loved and you will be liked,
and that you will have people to love and to like in return.
And, most importantly
(because I think there should be more kindness and more wisdom in the world right now),
I hope that you will, when you need to be, be wise,
and that you will always be kind. And I hope that somewhere in the next year,
you surprise yourself.

From my family to yours --
Merry Christmas and a blessed new year!
And big thank you to everyone who come visit this blog!
{from left to right -- Me, my sister Abbie, Mom, and my sister Dionne}
. . . . .
And because Christmas is all about family for me,
here's sharing photos of my family this Christmas.

This is my sister Abbie's funny bunch.

And this is my Canada-based sister Azenith and her family.
Thanks to Skype, we got to spend Christmas eve together.
. . . . .
In other news,
I covered the wedding of Bangkok-based Human Rights Lawyers Em and John,
a little more than a week before Christmas.

These two were so cool & fun, they were so easy to photograph.
And just a few days before Christmas, I photographed two of my
favorite families --

The Villas.

The Herreras.
So far, I'm having a grand time here in Cebu.
I hope that wherever you are, you are having a grand time this holiday season, too.
